Peyote – Odd Count

“ODD COUNT” PEYOTE BASICS

Peyote stitch is an essential bead weaving stitch, used in many projects from beginner to advanced levels.  “Odd Count” peyote stitch is used when you want to create a symmetrical pattern, or come to a point at the end (as shown on the pendants below). Students will work on a pendant,  while learning to read a graph/word chart.  Thread management, creating a tube bail, and decreasing using hidden turns are also covered.

Both patterns shown below will be included in your class handouts.
