Classic Bead Knotting

For a classic look, you just can’t beat a strand of hand-knotted pearls, or stone beads! In this beginners’ class you will learn how to hand-knot your beads.
The basic knotting method with tweezers will be taught, as well as how to finish the ends of your necklace or bracelet using bead tips.
With a little practice, you’ll be an expert knotter in no time!

Supplies the students will need to bring:
• 1 strand (approx. 8” for a bracelet) 6 or 8mm round glass, stone, or pearl beads
• Glasses if you need them
• Base metal bead tips
• Griffin silk or nylon

• Handout
• Tools for use in class (Tools are available for purchase)
